How do we create our own intricately colored/patterned collage papers and use them in a water media painting? It's all about choosing a color "family" that harmonizes with and compliments your painting. Whether you are an abstract painter, or prefer to work with specific subject matter, Liz will show you how to use this specialized technique to add a "wow" factor to your acrylic/media paintings.

Join Liz for this lively one day workshop (via Zoom) where she will demo and you will paint in class. Liz will provide fool-proof methods for creating colorful collage papers using stencils and acrylic paint. You'll then learn how to use those collage papers to create finished paintings.

Topics covered include:
-How to prepare your paper for acrylic painting/collage
-Selecting winning color combos to paint collage papers
-Methods for adding stencils/stamping to collage papers
-Integrating collage papers into acrylic paintings
-Creating winning compositions and designs on the fly
