This fun class will cover applying the pastel ground medium to a paper surface. We will discuss various ways to color the medium, either before or during application. After the textured surface has dried, we will do some exercises to explore different ways to work with pastels on the surface. This creates interesting effects with the pastels!
Kathleen Weil recently presented a demo to the Pastel Society of Southern California of this texture technique and many were intrigued to try it - so here is our opportunity to explore and try it out!
