Join our favorite watercolor instructor, Louisa, for a class focusing on the elements of line, shape, color, value, form, and texture, and incorporating them into a cohesive composition.
Note: This is a live/zoom class. Due to Covid 19 safety precautions, we are limiting in-class participants to six. All other participants are attending via zoom, which has been working out pretty well. DA attendees MUST WEAR MASKS AT ALL TIMES

About Louisa McHugh
Watercolor has always spoken to me in a way that no other medium has. With it's luminous, flowing qualities, watercolor provides an endless source of creative expression.
My work is often figurative, with several layers of transparent washes that roll over each other, causing the subject to drift in and out of focus. I take inspiration from the ordinary and find beauty in unconventional themes.
