Whether you think you cannot learn to draw, or you are an experienced painter that needs a refresher on the basics of drawing, this class will give you the five basic skills of drawing that form the basis of drawing what you see. We will explore this method of learning to draw first explained by Dr. Betty Edwards in her classic book, "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain." Through a series of exercises and projects, you will train your hand and your eye to put on the page what you are actually seeing, not what you think you see! You will learn to trick your brain into seeing what is actually there!
Drawing between classes is encouraged to get the most from this class.
