“Intro to Modern Calligraphy” is a fun and relaxed workshop designed for the calligraphy newbie. In this 6-hour workshop, students will be guided through an array of topics, tips, and disciplines, including materials preparation, basic pen strokes, letter formation techniques, and more. At the end of the course you’ll have all of the information and tools needed in your personal calligraphy materials set to continue sharpening your skills and developing your own calligraphic style. Price includes a Personal Calligraphy Materials Set with all of the tools required, and instruction.

About Roxy Szigat
Roxy, a California native and South Bay local, is a professional calligrapher with more than 30 years of experience. She began learning the art of calligraphy at the age of 14 when she was given her first Osmiroid pen set and soon after developed the ability to translate the art of calligraphy and lettering across multiple art forms using various medium and styles.
