This One-Day Painting Workshop is a practical guide to successfully transitioning to painting en plein air in any medium.
Improve your experience by learning how to prepare for painting in nature: pigments, paper, equipment, and back in the studio for finishing.
Join this dynamic workshop to cut through the mystique of Plein Air painting. The class starts inside with theory and organization, then heads outside for the practical part. We get down to basics in this fun-filled day to give you the knowledge and confidence to paint on location with any media. Lots of friendly exercises to understand light & shadow, harmony & mixing color. Plus the basics of making life easier out there with equipment, umbrellas, cool clothing, pastels and paints. Tons of tips and short-cuts on using your camera.
