We will be making an accordion book, which is made out of watercolor paper, and has a pocket and little bookmarks that you can make all from one sheet of watercolor paper. The book will include a closure of some kind and we will pull out the gelli plates and do some printing on the bookmarks and/or book itself or papers to insert or glue down. Come make a gem of a book and learn how to use the gelli plate for printing! All materials will be provided.
Lunch and good conversation will follow!

Robin Johns
I have been teaching art on an informal basis for approximately 15 years, primarily to seniors and currently to young adults on the spectrum, a collaborative effort between our organization Destination: Art and the Autism Society of Los Angeles. I started with jewelry making classes for residents at an assisted leaving facility and I’m currently creating content and leading classes that focus on mixed media for adults.
