If you are a creative person looking to dip your toes into (or back into) art classes but aren’t sure you’re comfortable calling yourself an “Artist,” Art for Everyone is for You! We at Destination: Art want to help you bring more art-making into your life. Come explore some beginner safe art techniques in a low pressure environment.
In this playful class will be making our own colorful tissue paper pieces using water and bleeding tissue paper to create tie-dyed collage papers. Then we will collage and add acrylic paint to create a vibrant piece of art. The instructor will guide you in ways to develop your intuition and willingness to explore and experiment. All materials will be provided.
The Art for Everyone program is intended for novice artists. We appreciate our more experienced artists holding space for them to enroll. Thank you.

I have been exploring the process of creating mixed media drawing for nearly my entire life.
I love to work and play in my sketchbook daily and am rarely without it.
I love the way making a line or layering a mark allows me to feel alive and connected to the
world in me and around me. I take delight in trying new materials and techniques and enjoy sharing
that knowledge with students so that they can explore the possibilities I believe art making creates.
