If you are a creative person looking to dip your toes into (or back into) art classes but aren’t sure you’re comfortable calling yourself an “Artist,” Art for Everyone is for You! We at Destination: Art want to help you bring more art-making into your life. Come explore some beginner safe art techniques in a low pressure environment. All materials will be provided.
In this workshop, students will learn how to lay out a mosaic and adhere it to a premade tile. They will also learn how to grout a mosaic once it’s complete.
The Art for Everyone program is intended for novice artists. We appreciate our more experienced artists holding space for them to enroll. Thank you.
About
Shasta McKinsey
After a summer internship where she fell in love with Destination: Art’s community outreach programs, Shasta McKinsey stayed on as a permanent staff member. She is currently a student artist studying production design for entertainment. While she dabbles with everything, she specializes in sculpture and pet portraiture. Her goal with teaching is to give people the space to explore unusual media not represented in Destination: Art’s usual class roster.
