Graphic Gel Printing with Paint Pens
Natalie Strong
Mixed Media
Cost: $55.00

Workshop
Beginners Welcome
Friday–Friday
Meets daily 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Fri, August 29, 2025

6 spaces available.

Come scratch your gel printing itch! We'll start by learning basic gel printing techniques and then bring in one of my favorite gel printing tools: Acrylic Markers. There is a magical transformation of even the simplest marks when you combine the precision of doodling and drawing with the unpredictable imperfection of the gel printing process. You don't need any experience to enjoy creating with paint pens and gel printing!

We'll have acrylic paint, gel plates, paper, brayers and paint pens available to share, but if you have your own, please bring them -- the more we have on hand, but more smoothly class will flow. You do not need to buy anything unless you want to, though once you get started gel printing, you'll almost certainly want to continue at home! See the attached materials list for ideas of things you might want to bring if you have them.

You'll leave this workshop with a pile of exciting, graphic collage papers, and I'll show you some of the ways I use gel prints in art journaling, pairs perfectly with gel printing!
