“Please join me in my August “beat the desert heat’ two day workshop.” I had such a good time teaching this last year, and so did the attendees, that I decided to do it again!
Over the years I have attended numerous workshops, and learned a lot of different ways of creating art in pastels. In many cases, I have combined or modified techniques. This workshop will address a few of these different techniques in depth, as well as talking about many types of underpainting, mark-making tips, and the way I am currently framing pastels. Some demos, and lots of personal instruction. For some of the techniques I will provide materials (and in one case, I will provide the reference), for others you can work from your reference, or some of mine, on your supplied materials (please see supply list).
Some pastel experience preferred.
