This workshop will focus on the basics for creating dramatic, dynamic, timeless landscapes: value, composition and simplifying shapes into strong design. Color relationships, edges, temperature of light will be discussed, as well as the application of value sketches and atmospheric perspective for stronger statements in your paintings. Also to be discussed: creating a passionate approach to your subject matter, evoking a more interactive response with the viewer. This workshop is open to beginning through advanced painters.

About Teresa Saia
Teresa is a recognized workshop instructor nationally and in Europe. She is a Master Pastelist with the International Association Pastel Societies and a Signature member of the American Impressionist Society. She enjoys creating a supportive and energetic atmosphere in which students can thrive, establishing their individual style and artistic statement. Believing that painting is a process and helping the participants relax and enjoy the journey. Workshops are a wonderful time to travel outside your comfort zone and explore new directions.
