Would you like to incorporate painted images into your gel prints, to use in collage or as finished paintings? Go beyond store-bought stencils by learning to create and use your own. Karen will show students how to make their own unique stencils and masks using found or hand drawn images. She will discuss composition and color palette, and you will use your stencils and masks to create a series of gel printed paintings in class. Basic understanding of gel plate printing is helpful but not required. Please review the Materials List when you register and come prepared to have some fun!
