Art Journaling is the creation of a sketchbook or journal full of creative exploration, personal investigation, and artistic record keeping. And Junk Journaling is a quick and dirty version of art journaling wherein you work in a book made of mismatched paper and then fill it with wild abandon. Don't think too hard, don't plan too much, just get in the flow and create.
In this fourth installment of "Elements of Art Journaling - Build and Fill a Junk Journal" students will start from scratch with a pile of paper of all sizes and colors and turn it into a custom Junk Journal. Papers and materials will be provided, but if you are someone who has a stash of interesting paper you'd like to use, please feel free to bring some of your own. I have attached a general mixed media kit materials list if you are interested, but you can arrive empty handed and be just fine! You do not have to have attended any previous workshops within this series to participate in this one.
