If you are a creative person looking to dip your toes into (or back into) art classes but aren’t sure you’re comfortable calling yourself an “Artist,” Art for Everyone is for You! We at Destination: Art want to help you bring more art-making into your life. Come explore some beginner safe art techniques in a low pressure environment. All materials will be provided.

Come and explore the joy of gel plate printing. Using simple materials of acrylic paint, a brayer and a gel plate, students will learn the basics of creating their own unique printed papers. This is a process approach to art making that allows for the development of playfulness and experimentation. Each participant will leave the workshop with an abundance of their own personally printed papers that can be used in collage, mixed media artwork or journals. There are no mistakes in gel plate printing, making the discovery process part of the fun!

The Art for Everyone program is intended for novice artists. We appreciate our more experienced artists holding space for them to enroll. Thank you.
