Nine art projects, enjoyable for artists and non-artists alike, are created during this class by each student while simultaneously measuring your body’s positive reactions while you create. You will be pleasantly surprised to discover your body’s many reactions to your artistic moments. Safe and easy-to-use tools help each participant discover how creating art changes your cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological systems. Skin temperature, oxygenation, blood pressure are also measured during projects. Brain waves tools and heart coherence devices reveal positive, negative, relaxing, or energizing aspects of each art project. Perhaps we will have a chance to measure saliva and hormones too.
The nine art projects include drawings, paintings, collages, etc. of designs, abstracts, representational, symbology, self-portrait and portrait of others, multimedia. These nine projects will explore 15 different psychological elements of inner peace and well-being which are all from my book Create Art for Inner Peace and Well-Being.
Being creative is not optional for your well-being, it is essential. In this 3-hour workshop, you will discover just how much you help yourself by each art project you create.
