As an award winning and professional pastel painter for over twenty years, Joe brings his knowledge and experience into a relaxed and welcoming environment in order to help students of all skill levels achieve their personal artistic goals as landscape and pastel artists. Personal attention is also given at each student’s easel, allowing them to get one-on-one time with Joe to receive feedback specific to their needs.
Topics to be covered are the following: composition, value, drawing, edges, color, soft and hard pastels, various pastel surfaces, advantages and disadvantages when working from photographs. Photographs will be provided. Students can use their own photos with instructor’s approval.
