We will cover some art basics including value and simple color theory so you can create beautiful pastel paintings. Come learn about soft pastels and papers available for pastels. We will discuss a variety of underpainting techniques to support the finished pastel application. You will go home with your first soft pastel landscape painting. Materials will be provided but bring any pastels and paper you have.
