Louisa is going to teach using a combination of traditional techniques and Experimental methods for a contemporary spin on creating watercolor art.

Louisa McHugh
Watercolor has always spoken to me in a way that no other medium has. With it's luminous, flowing qualities, watercolor provides an endless source of creative expression.
My work is often figurative, with several layers of transparent washes that roll over each other, causing the subject to drift in and out of focus. I take inspiration from the ordinary and find beauty in unconventional themes.
