Join Vickie on a fun exploratory journey through a variety of Mediums. Whether you're a beginning artist or an experienced artist, this class is a great way to try out new mediums and techniques. On the docket are (tentatively) Alcohol ink painting, Acrylic mono print painting, Sharpie art, Acrylic flow painting, and block printing. The good new is that all supplies are included- just show up and have fun!

Vickie Sekits
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from San Francisco State University with a BS in Nursing. After living in San Francisco for 11 years I moved to the South Bay in 1996. I became a stay at home mom raising three boys. I have been passionate about art from an early age but as time passed I found less time to invest in creative endeavors and put art aside for many years. As my kids grew I found myself painting with them and my love for artistic expression was rekindled. I started taking as many art classes as I could. Ceramics, oil, watercolor and pastel being my favorites. I consider myself a "self taught" artist with many sources of inspiration and I enjoy exploring new techniques. My other passion is teaching and encouraging both adults and children to be more creative. I enjoy sharing my passion for making art.
